Monthly SEO — Published Pricing
SEO packages, priced monthly.
Most agencies will not tell you what SEO costs until you have sat through a discovery call, because the number depends on what they think you will pay. Here are three plans with the prices on them, and no lock-in on any of them.
Monthly SEO Packages
Three plans. No lock-in on any of them.
Every plan includes the Google Business Profile work, the technical fixes and the monthly report. What changes between them is how fast new pages get written and how hard we go after competitors. Prices include GST.
Local
$690/mo
no lock-in, cancel any time
Enough to beat a neglected competitor
Google Business Profile managed properly rather than set up and forgotten. Two new suburb or service pages a quarter, written for searches people genuinely make. Technical faults found and fixed. A monthly report in plain English showing where you rank and what moved.
Best for sole traders and regional businesses · most trades start here
Growth — most popular
$1,190/mo
no lock-in, cancel any time
For a market with real competition
Everything in Local, plus a faster content rate — roughly two pages a month rather than a quarter — review generation set up so it runs without you chasing it, and competitor tracking so you can see who is actually moving and why. The tier most growing trades end up on.
Best for businesses with staff, in a city · most popular
Competitive
$1,890/mo
no lock-in, cancel any time
Capital city, crowded trade
For markets where several competitors are already doing this properly. Higher content volume, digital PR and link acquisition, full service and suburb coverage, and conversion work on the pages that already get traffic but do not turn it into calls.
Best for competitive capital-city markets
Straight Talk
Why most SEO packages are a bad deal.
The standard industry package is twelve months minimum, a vague list of deliverables, and a report full of charts that do not answer the only question you have, which is whether the phone rang more. If an agency will not tell you the price without a discovery call, the price depends on what they think you will pay.
There are no lock-in contracts here. If it is not working after three months you should be able to stop, and if you cannot, the agency has no real incentive to make it work. That is the entire argument for month-to-month and it is why every plan above is cancellable.
We will also tell you when a cheaper plan is the right one. A sole trader in a regional town does not need the Competitive package, and selling it to them would be the easiest money in this business. Most trades should start on Local and move up only if the market demands it.
What You Actually Get
Where the money actually goes.
Google Business Profile management. For most local trades this outranks the website. Categories, service areas, hours, regular photos, posts, Q&A and a review habit that keeps running. It is the highest-return hour in local SEO and almost nobody maintains it.
Pages written for real searches. Service pages and suburb pages built around what people type, not what the industry calls itself. This is the bulk of the work and the main difference between the tiers.
Technical fixes. Speed, structured data, sitemaps, duplicate URLs, broken links, mobile layout. None of it wins on its own and all of it quietly loses for you when it is broken.
A report you will actually read. Where you rank for the searches that matter, what moved since last month, what was done and what happens next. One page, plain English, no forty-page PDF.
If you also need the site built, that is a separate one-off fixed price from $799 — see the website packages. Keeping an existing site healthy is covered by a care plan from $79 a month.
Common Questions
Straight answers, no fine print.
How much do SEO packages cost in Australia?
Genuine monthly SEO for a small business generally runs between $500 and $2,500 a month. Below about $400 nobody is doing enough work to move anything. Above $3,000 you are usually paying for an agency's overhead rather than more output. Ours run from $690 to $1,890 with no lock-in.
Is there a lock-in contract?
No, on any plan. Month to month, cancel whenever. We think a twelve-month minimum mostly protects the agency from having to deliver, and we would rather earn the next month than trap you into it.
Which SEO package should I start on?
Most trades should start on Local. If you are a sole operator, or in a regional town where the competition is thin, it is usually enough on its own. Move up only when you can see specific competitors out-publishing you, which the monthly report will show.
How long before I see results?
Google Business Profile work can move the map pack within a few weeks. Website rankings usually take three to six months, and longer in a competitive capital city. If someone tells you thirty days, they are either guessing or planning something that gets your site penalised.
Do I need a new website first?
Sometimes, and we will say so plainly. If the site takes six seconds to load on a phone or there is no obvious way to call you, ranking higher just sends more people to a page that will not convert them. We would rather fix that first than take a monthly fee for sending traffic somewhere that wastes it.
What makes these different from cheap SEO packages?
Mostly that the price is published and the deliverables are specific. A $199 a month package is usually an automated report and a handful of directory submissions. The honest floor for work that actually moves a local business is a few hundred dollars a month of real time, and anything below that is selling you the feeling of doing SEO.
