Website Maintenance — From $79/mo

Website care plans, so it does not rot.

Websites do not break all at once. Updates get skipped, content goes stale, and one day you notice the contact form has been silently failing for three months. A care plan is just someone making sure that does not happen.

Care Plans

Two plans. Cancel whenever.

Both plans include GST and neither has a lock-in contract. You own the site either way — a care plan is a service, not a leash.

Why Sites Rot

Nothing breaks all at once.

A website that worked perfectly at launch does not fail dramatically. A plugin update is skipped, then another. A certificate expires. Someone changes a price in one place and not the other. Eighteen months later the site is slow, half the information is wrong, and the contact form has been silently failing for months.

The silent contact form is the one that costs real money, and it is more common than anyone admits. There is no error, no bounce, nothing in your inbox — enquiries simply stop arriving and you assume business is quiet. We check that forms actually deliver, every month, because we have seen it happen.

None of this needs a retainer if you are happy doing it yourself. Keep the plugins updated, run real backups off-site, test the form occasionally and keep your content current. If you will genuinely do that, do not buy a care plan. If you know you will not, this is what one costs.

The Part That Matters

A care plan is not a hostage situation.

There is a common arrangement where a very cheap website is paid monthly forever, and the agency quietly keeps the domain, the files and the content. The month you stop paying, the site disappears and you start from nothing. That is not maintenance, it is rent on something you thought you bought.

You own your site outright here, whether you are on a care plan or not. The domain is yours, the files are yours, and if you want to move hosting or hand it to someone else we will help you do it. Cancelling a care plan means we stop maintaining the site, not that it vanishes.

New builds come with the first three months of Essential included, and all build pricing is published on the pricing page.

Common Questions

Straight answers, no fine print.

What is a website care plan?

A monthly service that keeps a site working: hosting, security and plugin updates, off-site backups, uptime monitoring, and small content changes. It is maintenance, not marketing. Growing traffic is a separate job covered by an SEO package.

Do I have to be on a care plan?

No. You own the site and you can host and maintain it yourself, or have someone else do it. The plans exist because most small business owners will not get around to updates and backups, not because the site stops working without us.

What happens if I cancel?

We stop maintaining the site and you keep everything — domain, files and content. We will help you move it to another host if you want. Nothing is held hostage, because the build was paid for once rather than rented.

How many content changes are included?

Small changes are included on both plans — prices, hours, services, swapping a photo, adding a testimonial. Roughly thirty minutes a month, which covers what most small businesses actually need. A new page or a redesign is quoted separately so you are not paying a retainer for work you are not using.

Is hosting included?

Yes, on both plans, including the SSL certificate. If you would rather keep your existing hosting we can work with that instead, and the plan price drops accordingly — ask when you get in touch.

Can you maintain a website you did not build?

Usually, depending on what it was built with and what state it is in. We will look at it first and tell you honestly whether it is maintainable as it stands or whether rebuilding would cost less over two years than propping it up.
